Rumsfeld Docs, Show religious motive in Iraq war.
WMD's!? Looks like my suspicions were correct. The high up Christian fundamentalists in our gov. wanted a crusade for their "GOD"! Christian whackos like Rummy, Bush and the rest are just as bad as the ISLAMIC whackos they so vigorously villainize. "My invisible man is better than your!"

More..et Rumsfeld intelligence reports
By David Edwards and Jeremy Gantz
Published: May 17, 2009
Top secret military intelligence briefings prepared by former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld and often hand-delivered to George W. Bush featured Crusades-like Bible quotes above triumphant photos of the U.S. military effort in Iraq.
Less than one month after U.S. and coalition forces invaded Iraq in March 2003, a “Worldwide Intelligence Update” reached then-President Bush with the following quote on the cover of the briefing, above photos of jubilant Iraqi crowds in newly liberated Baghdad: “Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him…To deliver their soul from death.”
One week earlier, on April 3, 2003, another of these reports reached Bush, and its cover contained a passage from the book of Proverbs: “Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.”

Intended or not, one must not forget history. The Crusades were a battle between Christians and Muslims, and when even the slightest hint of one religion going after another is mentioned, it's sure to inflame and escalate hostilities towards one another.
When one mentions a crusade as George Bush did (This crusade, this war on terrorism is going to take a while. - George Bush, Sept. 16, 2001) it is clearly going to incite those of the Muslim faith because in effect he's saying he's going to make this a religious war.
And who can forget this little number:
""..Terror is bigger than one person..So I don't know where [Bin Laden] is..You know, I just don't spend that much time on him, Kelly, to be honest with you. ...I'll repeat what I said. I truly am not that concerned about him." - George Bush, March 13, 2002 Press Conference
"The United States is committed to the worldwide elimination of torture and we are leading this fight by example." - George Bush on UN Torture Victims Recognition Day, June 26, 2003

Yeah, the religion of Islam. Do you need the litany of the two WTC bombings, one in the 90's, the one in 2001. The USS Cole, Kuwait, The American Embassy in Iran, the list goes on and on. It is a religious war as far as Muslims are concerned.

Believe it or not, TJ, I agree that Iraq was premeditated. I even did a video on it:

You're right, but so did Cheney - over and over and over again! Bush really wasn't terribly bright - and we're still paying the price...

Any kind of a war between USA and Islam is not a christian war.
Americans, generally, of all religions, or no religion, are totally against Islam.

Actually I don't speak for everyone, I noticed what I said, when I was typing in a hurry. Sorry.
What I have noticed in America is that a lot of people don't know what Islam really is. 10 years ago, people generally thought of Islam as , just another religion, a pathway to the same God.
Now as muslims, world wide, are showing their true colors, more and more people are becoming informed. After all all you have to do is read, and everything is available.
In the part of the country i'm in, where I'm dealing with my social and political circle, what I've noticed that aboult 100% of the people who, once informed aboult the values and stats. of Islam, totally turn againgt it. The only ones who disagree are,
Muslims themselves.
People who do not investagate, and consequently really don't know what Islam really is.
Keep in mind, a lot of people think Islam is a religion, so it could'nt possably be bad, just another intrepation of doctrine.
The average person could'nt immagine Islam for what it really is.

Don't worry about me then. I think that ALL organized religions should be done away with, or at least shown for what they really are, a means of CONTROL! The world would be a much better place without religion.

My views ar similar to yours. I can understand, when the religions started, they provided a comfort, and general rule base to keep the people together.
It also gave a quick, and conclusive answer to anything that was'nt understood. It must the magic man in the sky.
But now, the political aspects of organized religion has gotten out of hand.
The Judeo-christian religions are basicly good, with good values, but, get real, these are still based om magic, with no documentation to the fantastic claims they base their lives on.
Islam is another story, It was created for the soul purpose of evil. And if you do not agree with it, they will kill you. They have those orders, in writing, from God.
I wish these, silly ass people, would wake up.
