Does anyone else have this problem and if so, what can be done about it??..I also have VLC installed but now it's beyond frustrating..if anyone has any solutions or advice, it would be greatly appreciated..thank you LL'ers

  • Step 1.shoot some compressed air between your ears
2.once the dust has settled, do same to your desktop
3.flash player should now run smoothly

  • Reload the page where the clip keeps crashing. Then right click on the clip.
    Go to settings.
Then uncheck the hardware accelerator box. Problem fixed :@)

P.S. it only happened to me when I went full screen, I could still watch the tiny screen without a problem, But I went through 2 weeks of trying everything to figure it out. It was pissing me off to no end.

  • Update your video driver. I just installed a new bug fix for crashes and it seems to work much better. I have an "Intel HD Graphics" driver.

  • No problems with it, other than it has to update itself too many times. Same for my Icrecream Sandwich Android tablet. No real problems.

For my Laptop, I still use AVG anti-Virus and do not use any other brand of flash players. Ever since I got Windows7 64-bit with the laptop last year, I never had to re-install windows either.

I wonder if Windows 8 is going to be a flop loaded with bugs....

  • Uninstall Adobe Flash.
Find an older version and install it.
Make sure you disable automatic update.

    Problem solved.
    (ESPECIALLY for Firefox!)

  • If you have realplayer downloader ditch it and then uninstall and reinstall flash ..I could not play any flash videos at all after an update but unistalling realplayer fixed it for firefox.

  • Have you tried

    Uninstall Adobe Flash Player

(Admin rights will be required). If you have this entry delete the following registry key

    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOTMIMEDatabaseContent Typeapplication/x-shockwave-flash

    Re-install

    Might help

  • It's complete shit, has got worse with each update. It causes me the most firefox issues of all apps. Closing flash in taskmanager fixes about 95% of my browser issues. Funny that. Time to say goodbye to this shitty, closed, adobe platform and move to something else.

  • Immense problems with playing videos on Liveleak too - audio fine but video can't keep up. I've been told it might be a conversion frame-rate problem. Any solution?

  • If you are using a MAC, Apple has done something to cause problems with Flash. I think they have blocked or prevented it from downloading.
