The Parcels Service - British Railways parcel service...

a classic British Rail Educational Training Film from 1960 extolling the virtues of correct parcels and container stowage to make the job easier.. this was still some years away from Containerisation and at a time when British Rail was the major mover of parcels and freight around the country. It was soon to lose it's dominance to road borne collection and delivery. This film has the late 1950's and early 1960's written all over it. At the time Rail and Portering staff were encouraged to attend these films under the 'Improvement Scheme' in their own time and at their own expense.

warning; if in the first few seconds you don't like what you see you are well advised to hit that back-button as fast as your machine will allow, this is a long film and is really only for the admirer of the genre...
