  • Perfectly understandable imo. I would probably pay for not having to listen to Usher. I'll never forget the time I saw a MTV show some years back where they had popular musicians make a top 10 list of their favorite artists. They had Usher make a list too and he put himself at #1 on his list above Michael Jackson and other artist and I thought to myself how anyone can be so obnoxious.

      But have you heard of Omar Alfredo Rodriguez-Lopez? Dude rocks, conducts, adlibs...He's what music was about before MTV.

      Hell yeah; testify! I grew up in the 80's and for the most part can still only listen to bands that existed in the 80's and 90's.

      I remember being able to flip to MTV and any new song was almost guaranteed to be something I enjoyed. Now I can't even listen to music on TV or radio. I've got to sift through mounds of bullshit music to find one or two good artists, almost none of which are able to make it big in this bullshit market.
