Quoted comment by Nurb: Since fox news "has the highest ratings" now, they ARE the mainstream media and no longer an underdog.
MSM is the collection of "common sentiments" of the american people represented by a majority of news stations.
Fox is one station, the only one with a conservative viewpoint in a sea of liberal bias

the fact you WANT a news source with any bias or "viewpoint" is why most American news on radio and tv sucks.

Total casualties of both wars now is around 4,200.
Even if you halve that, OReilly thinks 2,100 is a fine number?
Many with horrific injuries.
Let's not exclude suicide, 115 suicides in the Army for 2007, 102 the year prior.
Not sure where it stands now.
Every human being has a breaking point.
OReilly's giving his opinion of other people's opinions.
What happened to real issues?
You can see on his face he's already thinking about what he's having for lunch with Olbermann.
(you know, because they all act like they don't get along.)
It's just entertainment, these pundits hardly scratch the surface.

You really think O'reilly and Olbermann are buddies? Do you have any evidence of that?

Nicely put. I couldn't have said anything more concise, or profound. Well damn done.

lol...simply putting words in his mouth does not form the basis for a counter argument. Sorry, you fail.
And yes, his point is accurate. The level of violence in Afghanistan pales in comparison to say the war in europe, any of the campaigns fought in the Pacific, WWI, and yes, even Viet Nam.

Bill being right is like winning in lottery, but it happens. However Bill should not call anyone coward, having himself not served.
