@p90naude...That was a nice thing to say, bud, but it's not really a passion. The stuff I grow tastes so much better than the store-bought garbage. And the stuff I grow makes for good trading to folks around here that have bigger gardens than I do. It all goes that-a-way and comes back around.

you should get some fish going (lake perch or tilapia) in a DIY backyard aquaponics setup(youtube it!!!! its cool) .... throw some duckweed and such to feed the fish and the whole mini biosystem feeds itself. Free fertilizer from the fish pond, free veggies/greens/&herbs, and free fish

@qwerty4242---Remember, bro, that I live in an apartment so my space is small. BUT! This is in the country, too, so fertilizer is free, duck weed is a pain in the butt for pond owners and I can fish many ponds around here for fresh fish. Dammit, I guess I'll have to take you guys out for a few minutes of farm pond fishing. Doesn't take long to get a meal or two. :)

Heyy thanks for the vid reply brother! Those tomato plants of yours look like they are getting big. You got peppers and everything coming around too. There is nothing like fresh salsa right out of the garden! My tomatoes still no hint of color yet so it will give me time to hunt down some good bacon. I will try the green tomato sometime this year. I was going to ask you how you cook or fry them and that sounds good deep frying. Ill try some peanut oil, or canola.

@spliffy1966--To be fair, it's really a small garden. I just cram the shit in there. Weeds aren't a problem because I keep the soil loose. If a dirty rotten SOB weed pops up I just take him out. You know...like a boss. LOL!
