Placing weapons for photo-shoots is 100% standard practice across battle-fields.
It reflects the fact the bodies have been previously 'cleared' for weapons and explosives and then later had weapons placed for the cameras.
I can show you umpteen videos from Russia and Afghanistan where this happens.

Not sure on the video content or purpose but it appears to be a staged location for this photo-op. Guy missing the most brain matter had his lower right leg blown off mid shin and I don't see it lying around.
