The Blizzard of 2013 Timelapse
Awesome timelapse ,this is not my recording, just something i wanted to share around.
" I set my GoPro Hero at the door to the deck and let it take one frame per minute starting at 6:07 AM. I stopped it a little after 11:00 PM, It wasn't stopped because the snow was over or the memory card was full. It was stopped because the snow was over the lens!"

A blizzard by definition requires both snow and wind, this was a light flurry at best.....pffft at title

@mytwocents Well Providence, Rhode Island is looking at a literal 35 inches of snowfall, or 89 cm for you metric people. That's no joke. Factor in the 50+ mph wind gusts. This storm system is affecting something like 7 states at least, so what you see here in this video probably isn't even close to the worst it can do.

The worst is they won't be prepared for heavy snow, ton's of work ahead for some!
LOL at you doing the conversion for me, they fucked us up good here in Canada when they implemented the metric system, it never really stuck for me, I have no clue what I weigh in KG, I use pounds, though when it comes to weed and race cars I use metric.
As for height and short length again it is the same confusing mixture of measures, I'm 5'10, I have no idea what that is in cm..none.....just like sn More..

@mytwocents "weed and race cars" Yep....I knew I liked you, mytwocents. From my car research, and like you having to convert from metric to standard and vice versa, each pound is 2.2 kg, so just multiply by that. 1 mph is .62 km/h (or .6) and 1" is 2.54 cm....these are the three conversions I memorized and it makes it so much easier. But agreed, that system you have to deal with seems very fucked indeed.

Wake the f()ck up people. Just like..... "BREAKING NEWS" .. the mayor has a hang nail.
A blizzard is a severe snowstorm characterized by strong winds and low temperatures. The name originated in the central United States, where blizzards are brought by northwesterly winds following winter depressions, or low-pressure systems. @Finalreminder Yeah a blizzard requires wind above something like 35mph I believe. But this storm system was said to produce gusts upwards of 60+mph, so I guess in many parts of the country it is a true blizzard. Truth be told, the snowfall is what's really important here though.
