Guns are not outlawed here, just very restricted and lots of gun types banned such as pistols. Plus you have to have a good reason to own one with strict checks and hard to obtain licenses, or you could go to the local street corner in london and pick one up.

@conservative hispanic I don't really know the answer, but I do know that you can't own a gun let alone any weapon just for the purpose of self defence. Also self-defence has to be reasonable force, i.e if someone taps you on the leg with a spoon you can't chop there head off with a sword.

@Gimpo not to worry, we're handing out boarding passes to flights bound for England to any mexican and south americans who are looking to purchase cheap guns. we'd sell them some of ours, but our current administration is giving them away to the cartels, so the prices here aren't worth the effort.

Of course there are guns here, just like drugs it is suppled underground, however guns are very hard to get hold of and as a result the UK has one of the lowest rates of deaths/injuries caused by gun crime in the world.
