Disgusting cultural practice in India as affluence rises more and more larger animals such as
bovines, camels and increasigly horses are slaughtered to show the ‘status ‘ of the person making the sacrifice. Slaughter was symbolic and never meant to be a status parade that it has become. Even on Bakr Eid slaughter of animals other than goats or sheep is not allowed under Indian law. No slaughter is allowed other than at a slaughter house under legal procedure and an exception is provided for ritual slaughter on Eid but can only be provided for sheep & goat. However it is increasingly common to see the ‘spectacle’ of animals slaughtered publicly for the amusement of those witnessing the slaughter. This video was recorded on 2011.

I didn't watch the video. Humans slaughtering humans, even innocents, I can stomach. I consider myself civilised, but if I got my hands on these 'people', I'd torture them, over days, not letting them die until they begged me to end it. I again wont watch it but i can thankfully go off comments that again animals suffer for no reason at the hand of man. I wish half these countries would self implode. The sooner the better. If people were educated and also if people took a stance that just because they end up on a dinner plate it shouldnt matter. It should matter.
