Lo the poor brave pilots of the death trap. Hopefully modern ejection systems will at least enable test pilots to save their own lives in future. Geoffrey Dehavilland, son of the brilliant inventor of the Mosquito in world war 2, lost his life in a similar crash. When airplanes are involved, disaster awaits, especially for anything brand new.
Quoted comment by Rubicon_Cube: Awesome! But why is it that American planes and cars are always crap?

Sure that's it. America has never made decent aircraft or cars. Just Canada. This model wasn't as successful as some but it was still being used by some nations as late as 1985. Not bad for a craft that statrted flying in 1953.
Why didn't he turn off the props to compensate for the missing engine? I am not a pilot but I have flown many flight sims. I would have cut power at some time.

It probably better to land without the landing gear out, next time.

Note to self... Don't reverse engine when you only have one that works.

Odd. it certainly did take a turn for the worse after touchdown.

it did look funny....certainly not the look of an aircraft with power pulled all the way back on the engines.

That is a British plane. We had some, but they did not work out. They look cool though.

Depends on the type of plane, which one are you referring to?
