I think really simple answers appeal to really simple people (and the ones who give you the thumbs up). If you want to ask serious questions about why people believe in religions, study it or talk to secular scholars (atheists) who are familar with the topic. It's an interesting topic... albeit not to retards. (Oops... forgot to add "Merry Christmas!" ... which you're not celebrating, of course!)

I had been a believer of the Roman Catholic Cult, and their ways, for nearly 30 years. I probably know more about the bible than most people here.
It is quite possible that I don't believe in any religion as much as you don't believe in other religions, such as Greek Gods, Native American Religion, voodoo, unicorns, or Satanism.
Thanks, Merry Christmas too. I celebrate Christmas, but not in a religious way.
