Fox News is clearly not reporting news

Fox News was caught red handed airing edited footage of a Q&A with former US Ambassador John Bolton. After receiving a tough and emotional question from a Ranger vet of the Iraq war, John insults the ranger and instead of answering the question he tells him to report the crimes to his superiors.

Then they applaud Bolton but according to the person asking the question Bolton was booed.
The question we have to ask ourselves is if a news agency has an agenda and will manipulate the news to a point it is no longer a news report but fiction, can it be considered news?
Clearly just the right arm of the Neo-Con agenda.

  • So, Bolton was booed for saying any wrongdoing should be reported???

Perhaps the audience preferred the cover-up.

  • According to wikipedia:

"Bolton supported the Vietnam War and enlisted in the Maryland Army National Guard, but did not serve in Vietnam. He wrote in his Yale 25th reunion book "I confess I had no desire to die in a Southeast Asian rice paddy. I considered the war in Vietnam already lost."[15] In an interview, Bolton discussed his comment in the reunion book, explaining that he decided to avoid service in Vietnam because "by the time I was about to graduate in 1970, it was More..

  • As a former fox news fan I must admit that ALL Media is lying to us and have us hear what they want us to hear. Near believe anything you hear and only half of what you see. I am not a fan of any media at all now. They are all liars!

  • Interesting. If that's true (and I'm not saying that is) then Fox is doing its audience a disservice and undermining its own credibility.

Having "news" organizations or networks that are aligned with a certain groupthink only serve to undermine the very purpose of freedom of speech. That's why I don't watch TV news of any stripe.

    • @USA1 Yes but unfortunately a lot of people do and take it as fact. This morning I was flipping thru the tele before heading out of my house and I stopped on Fox. They were doing a report on Taxes called "Taxed to the Max" Where they were discussing Obama's corporate tax break. After months of talking about how Obama was hurting businesses cause he was not giving out tax breaks, they are now saying the tax breaks hurt small businesses.

I used to think MSNBC was bad but at least their More..

    • @neutral_person Fox news has always been complete and utter lies and opinion bullshit that people take as "news". I forgot how much of the day is actually real reporting instead of opinion shows. I think its something like 2 hours out of the entire 24 hour day. Its why people on this site continue to blow my mind without being able to provide any shred of evidence

  • Cable news is corporate-approved/funded fodder for the masses. Essentially serving as the shovels of your true masters heaping nonsense into the eyes, ears and minds of the public. The more you ingest, the stupider you become.

Seek alternatives. Think for yourself with facts and reality as your foundation.

  • No one has been screwed over in these wars more than the troops. We live in an age where a video camera can fit in your pocket and take video that is instantly spread around the globe. Yet we do not see any of the raw videos you see on LiveLeak on the mainstream.

I'm sorry but if people saw what it looks like when a soldier loses his leg then see the reaction of his fellow soldiers when he dies these wars would have been over years ago.

  • Why would any intelligent person sign up to the military to be but in that situation. I support all those who serve to protect their country. But my Ass stays off the lines unless it is my line I am protecting.

Who signs up to go fight in Iraq intelligently knowing what they are actually fighting for, it has nothing to do with their families freedoms at home. Think about the grief your families will suffer from the loss of the loved ones who went overseas.
