Former Pentagon Analyst Says US & Israel Are Driving Syria Unrest
...out of fear of Iran's growing influence in the region. But nobody dares to say it.
I would add that once again the US is doing the hard and dirty work to benefit Israel but also reap some financial reward for its own "defense" contractors.

@allank I can't reply to Radical Dreamer cuz he blocked me. I'm neither Muslim nor Arab, I'm French from waaaay back, and a Christian but don't go for organized religion. I see my posts about Muslims attract Muslim haters like him, but I repeat what I said somewhere else, that if you want to enjoy the First Amendment freedoms, you need to respect other people's religion too.

I wonder why it is the muslim world feels that anything happening has to be US caused... maybe they think that because they know the islamist mindset isn't capable of intelligent thought

@thegrimreaper The former Pentagon officer starts speaking at 1:04 so what does it matter on which TV station it's airing? Of course anti-gov folks won't be aired on the mainstream media. What some call freedom of speech you call propaganda.

So to counter Iran, we take a mostly secular dictator out and risk a new radical Islamist government taking power? Do the fucking math...

@HamInTheTram I'm not defending the regime, but bad as it is I'm just asking why we'de risk a pro-Iranian replacement. Nations compete in geopolitics and that sounds like a poor trade to me. I'd guess that the Israeli lobby might see things the same way.

Good post. RT is not accepting CIA censorship, unlike Al Jazeera. Qatar is a very small country under the influence of external forces. Russia is a power in its own right, and it is hard to bully Russia to tow a foreign media slant.

i dont think unrest in syria would really be in israels favor, i doubt they want a jihadi paradise type failed state right next to them, if anything the israelis would probably want assad to stay in power and keep a grip on the islamists but who knows

It does seem odd that when the U.S. doesn't interfere with a Middle East dictator it's because of the joo. And when the U.S. does get involved with toppling a Middle East dictator it's because the joo.

@migs1955 This is a typical example of hallucinative conspiracy. I rather think that Israel would love that the situation in her northern border will stay exactly as it was one year ago- quiet. The unrest in Syria endanger it. The situation that was created in Egypt just emphasizing your mistake here.

Israel can only in it's eyes take land legitimately during and after a military conflict with another state, as it did in the Golan heights and the West Bank, under the never ending umbrella of excuses such as "national defence" and "the Holocaust" to justify such land grabs.

@MurkyFogsFutureLogs Israeli presence in the west bank is falsly called "occupation". According to international law, a real state of occupation exist only if the territory is taken from a known sovereign. The last known sovereign which ruled the west bank area was the Othman empire which cease to exist after WW1. After that, in 48' the Jordanian occupied this territory after a harsh war with the new Israeli state. In the six day war (67) after the arab states surrounding Israel fought More..
