The pressures of life can be overwhelming sometimes...makes you contemplate 'a different place', grasping a hold of reality (because people really do care if you live or die *though you wouldn't notice with most*) escapes some....and then, they kill themselves.
Suck it up and take your punches..Tomorrow is not today, it may be better.

Thought about killing myself today....pay cheque was late, and child support is due as well as rent, power company gave me till today to pay or they shut me off.

Her family will receive a hefty fine from the government. It is illegal to commit suicide in Singapore. 966 people were arrested and jailed for attempting suicide in Singapore in 2010. For those who succeed, their families will be presented with a fine to pay.

If you are convicted in court, let's say for wearing a motorcycle helmet into a bank, and appeal, and you are convicted again in appeal court, then your punishment is usually doubled. The reasoning is that you knew you were guilty and intentionally wasted the court's time.
