The only thing Dagestan has produced that I've ever heard of, was a black metal band called Death Kristjan, which had a logo that said 'satan will kill you dead'. At that time in early 2000s, Dagestan wasn't even really acknowledged as existing on the internet, so that was a pretty unusual way to learn of a country.
