A car traveling along a 2 lane road moves into the outside lane and a suv decides he wants to take the far right turn, slows and then make his move without looking for traffic first.
The two lanes head to a T junction and many people move into the outside lane, The suv instead of going to the next right i deciede to cut across the traffic infront of me.

oh and after watching many videos on here like this i bought one...........they are a good investment

He obeyed all road laws and laws of common sense. It was legitimate and legal, regardless of your subjective opinion of his speed.

    • @MudMan so you were speeding its your fault nobody elses

  • Well, it looks like speeding in my opinion. The car was signalling to change lane well before this guy got cut off

    • @ruggerbugger
Maybe he was going a little too fast but it was still the guy changing lanes who was at fault. He should have changed much earlier if he wanted to turn right.

    • @spellingpolice or waited for this guy to go past. his speed of 33mph is nicely in the 10% margin that is aloud in this country

  • I see it's mainly Americans saying that you're driving too fast lol We have small roads, the usual limit for built up areas is about 30mph, and we're used to driving like that. There's only a problem when idiots change lanes without looking etc.

    • @addav79 lol yep its only the american people and a dud e in wales. Yes we are used to driving on wet leaves and Mud in turnipshire.

  • There are a lot of people commenting here who are not fit to operate a motor vehicle.
I would imagine most of the detractors of MudMan's driving regularly find themselves in the same situation as the SUV/MPV driver.
'Oh im going slow so I'm safe. WHOAH SHIT WHAT WAS THAT.'
Oh it was another citizen driving within the law.

  • Glad you avoided an accident, or as you guys call it, a "Collision".
Shit happens, everyone. He had his lane, was going down it at speed, other idiot simply put signal on and jammed it. Whats right with THAT?

I avoided a similar accident by having Steve McQueens ghost riding shotgun with me: Twat turned onto my street ignoring I had right of way, I swerved, now heading INTO a stopped suburban who was turning into same street of the twat. Now, for the life of me I dont know how, but I More..

  • Turning from the wrong lane with a last second signal. I like how your car chimes after you pull off a skilled maneuver.

  • Good reactions would have been slowing down sooner when the driver first put their indicators on.

You were going to fast for the conditions. This servers more as an example of how not to drive.

    • @StupidWorld the problem with that comment is you would have everyone driving around at 10mph when its slightly wet.

  • Been there...and luckily I too had another lane to veered into...

I can't help to think they did it on purpose.

  • you can see by the road markings that if you are unfamiliar with the area you would think you were in a 2-way street so the driver would have - at that time had all eyes front and a quick check of the blind spot. Your speed looked a little hasty for them to have caught sight of you in the above circumstance but you were on it so disaster averted.

Now, did you leave your car armed with a baseball bat? Axe? Gun? 10 n*£$rs? Bath salts? That also needs to be filmed don't forget :o)

  • I see idiocy like this on UK roads every day, but of course, there is no way to determine or punish this sort of driving. So long as they stick to the arbitrary speed limits as required, they can be as ignorant and dozy as they like.
Not keen on the idea of dash cams here though. I'm sure it will help in some insurance claims, but I fear it will become mandatory.
