Men Fall Through Glass Sidewalk
A portion of sidewalk constructed from tempered glass in China's Sichuan province broke while two men were walking over it, sending them plunging five metres down into a parking garage below.
According to a reporter from the scene, the portion of sidewalk was constructed from 40 layers of tempered glass, but apparently a fair number had already developed cracks.
On the topic of glass pathways, one must admit such reports make Tianmen's glass mountain path, some 1430m (4700ft) high, all the more daunting.

to be fair.. adding glass to a street walk is just asking for it to get damaged.
that's a bad use and application of that tech.
car's could have parked on it. People may have been jumping on it street sellers may have rolled there 400lb car's with metal wheels across it.
but then again it's a product made in china.. that never makes me feel safe.
