A MARRIED school teacher accused of having a lesbian relationship with a 14-year-old female student became "part of the girl's family", a court heard today.

Amanda Louise Thompson, 26, pleaded not guilty in a Brisbane District Court today to one count of maintaining a sexual relationship with a child under 16.
