Colorado police dashcam captures falling meteor above Utah

A Grand Junction police officer was driving near Sam's Club when out of the night sky at 12:06:06 AM came an unbelievable sight.
A meteor shot through the sky, illuminating the western end of the Valley.
The officer's dashboard camera captured the whole thing.
Scientists believe the meteor was about the size of a microwave or refrigerator.
They say it broke apart as it entered our atmosphere.
Only small pieces hit the ground.
