About ten years ago in my travels, I walked up on a massive Black Jaguar. I stopped, and made eye contact with his deathly yellow eyes being careful not to make any sudden moves. 2 minutes into this stare down he decided to act by showing his teeth and tightening his steel cable like muscles.
I have never run so fast out of a zoo since.
