Moderators basically never delete comments. Usually it is the poster of a video that does it.
Only in rare cases of too harsh racism and spam a mod bothers to intervene.

But reading some examples of your comments here I wouldnt be suprised if anywone took action. Seems you are missing some basic manners of communication.

  • Love him or hate him, but this sniper was an idiot.
You don't become a harbinger of death, a long range killer of 150+ and go home, brag about it, write books, get on television, tell the world where you live with a big ass bounty on your head.
He did everything right, right up to the point where he started to brag about his work.
This is why most military snipers never talk or reveal their identity, you make lots of enemies.
Now I could be completely wrong on the nature of his death, but I More..

    • @POLIZEI He actually didn't brag about it much. He didn't even want the actual number of kills published in the book. He said if they could determine how many coalition soldiers his sniping saved, he'd brag about that. Lots of folks had your opinion though.

    • @999YDStare
You may think he didn't brag much, but he did.
If he didn't want the actual number of kills he made, why did he go way above the number confirmed by the US military?
Now don't get me wrong, I didn't dislike him, but he wanted attention.
As I said before, he did everything right, right up to the point he went on television/book tours and so on.
by doing so, he put his own life and that of his family in danger.

And yet everytime he showed up on tv for an interview about his book he was introduced with that number in his description...So give me a break

  • NRA responded: This is why we need trained gunmen for protection on every shooting range!

    Posted Feb-3-2013 By

    (7) | Report

  • So much for that crazy NRA line about the only way to stop a bad guy with a gun is to have a good guy with a gun. Hell, even a bunch of good guys with guns couldn't do it.

Sorry for Kyle's loss. RIP. But the math is simple: more guns = more deaths. Period.

    • @Pettit10000
Wrong. The U.S. has gone on the biggest gun-buying spree in history over the past four years, and the crime rate in all categories is still falling. There are more gun owners now than there were 40 years ago, but the crime rate is back were we were in the late sixties. So you're just factually incorrect.

    • @Lllarrry It's illegal for the CDC to keep or study gun death statistics thanks to the NRA. You are now the target of the NRA.

    • @airhammer
Well, you'd better call the feds, because the CDC is breaking the law! Here are the CDC statistics on gun deaths:

      http://www.cdc.gov/nchs/fastats/injury.htm

Bet you feel pretty stupid now, huh? That's what happens when you just repeat things like a goddam parrot instead of doing some fucking research yourself.

      Posted Feb-3-2013 By

      (1) | Report

    • @Lllarrry I accidentally voted you up. Crime rates are not going down because there are more guns. For starters, there are more people, which is why there are more guns, and crime rates are a per capita measure. You'll need to prove that guns per person are increasing to attempt that sort of link, and even then you can't prove any causality. Want to know he real reason for lower crime? The answer is in the book freakanomics, and it has nothing o do with guns.

I do not support new gun laws at all because they will solve nothing.
All gun laws do is make POLITICIANS use their votes to get money.
No gun law has ever stopped one gun crime and it never will.
We do not need more gun laws.
We need the ones we have better enforced.

Well, I am an American raised in the gun culture... I was shooting .22 pistols when I was 8, and have had my personal arsenal throughout my adult life. With that said, I've never heard of him, nor do I care. I feel that most of the idiots who follow book hype like this are wannabe warriors who live pathetic, delusional lives. My guns are a tool used to protect my life, not as a means to define my life.

    • @midbc So the sniper has no friends or family? He will be remembered for the book he wrote by those who read it. He will be rembered for a long time by military friends and servicemen he met because of this incident. He will be remembered by family. So unledd Mnemonic plans on putting out a published novel that many will read and build a reputable career in some field where he gains recognition. I highly doubt he will be remembered longer. Explain your reasons if you think otherwise

  • This guy had killed a lot and no they were not all terrorists. They were people fighting what they viewed as invaders. And if you look at the causes of the Iraq war the US was really acting as nothing more than invaders instead of liberators. No he wasn't a hero. Few troops are anything other than killers especially US troops. I don't admire this guy I only wish his faith would be shared more often with other special op guys and girls.

Actually, the people fighting the Coalition were Ba'athists trying to re-establish Saddam's dictatorship; Sunni jihadis trying to establish a theocratic dictatorship; and Shi'tes doing the bidding of Iran. They "fought for their country" by murdering their fellow citizens. The Coalition prevented the Ba'athists and jihadis from taking over. Some people argue that Iran now has a greater influence in Iraq, but the Iraqi army liberated Basra from the Iranians in 2007, k More..

America bears the guilt and will always be on guard now for revenge attacks which are totally acceptable. If there was another 9/11 attack, it would be justice.
