not surprised in regards to the ROEs in that country. fight a battle with both hands tied while blindfolded.
i wonder if they could just drop bunker busters on each mountain top to change the terrain. that could help deny enemy avenues of approach and key terrain. then again, that's only if the US military were allowed to use their full arsenal, but that's not happening anytime soon.

Respect? Yes. Fear? No.
Talibans are a group of "Nutty Extremists" who fight with no regulations. Those are the advantage they have over us. Other than that they are toast.

I can understand their frustration with the rules. As I watched I just thought to myself that I just want them to deal with it, do what they have to do, and come home safe.
Our guys are doing an incredible job out there under very difficult circumstances, and I'm proud of them.

The taliban consist of nothing more than a bunch of monkeys, apes, savages, knuckle dragging goat humpers. They deserve no fear and zero respect. They advocate that thier wives be beaten and cover thier faces. They mercy kill thier daughters, slice the clitoris's off thier teenage girls, behead, stone, and throw acid into the faces of anyone that disagrees with thier primative way of thinking. Monkeys that's all...nothing more, nothing less. May god bless our troops and allow for maximum mayhem in monkey land.

US has the capability to take out Taliban hit and runners' by demolishing the entire mountain at a moments notice. but their not there to destroy their country....Just the Taliban. with out rules of engagement. the Taliban would be experiencing a living nightmare.

read my first statement. here i will summarize it: the US is not using its first arsenal, taleban and al qaeda were thoroughly embarrassed when spec ops on horseback robbed them ho friends of yours of their lives. a complete collapse and retreat in one month of operations, plus the loss of control over a miniscule amount of spec ops power on horseback.
if the US unleashed its full arsenal, afghanistan would be a barren wasteland, but I thank God we do not stoop to that level. We don't need another Hiroshima or Nagasaki on our hands.
