(August 23rd, 2012) A high speed chase that eventually led to gunfire as Miami police chase a daring suspect as he weaves carelessly through traffic risking his life and all around him. Eventually he crashes, tried to jump a fence as police opened fire. His condition at this time is unknown but he has been taken to a hospital.

(TelegraphUK) A dramatic high-speed car chase in Miami ends with police firing shots at the
driver.
A man led police on a chase through the streets of Miami, Florida on Thursday
then tried to flee on foot when the police caught up with him. Aerial footage showed the car weaving through traffic with the police in pursuit, then crashing into a chain-link fence.
When cornered by the police, the driver jumped out of the car, then vaulted over the fence. An aerial view of the scene showed police firing shots at the driver. The driver was taken to the hospital by ambulance. His condition is unknown.

The driver responsible for a police chase tries to walk casually away from the scene.

I all for lethal force and such, love seeing criminals get shot, but not this guy, that was unprovoked and I actually feel bad for him, but then again, if he survives? major lawsuit, lots of money, in the end he wins.

Arial view from chopper didn't record the gunfire back and forth from fleeing driver. This chase went on about 20 min- this didn't show the 18 wheeler he caused to jacknife. But more importantly, a 4rth dude was in the back who fled, which is why the inept Miami police are running down the street. Nothing like an 9am car chase every Friday!
