They are jet engines, add a transmission then they are called a turbine engine, add a propeller and call it a turbo prop. The engine part is still a jet, I used to work with these.

@moefugger sure, but they are not jet engines. In a jet engine the power is output as thrust from the exhaust jet. In a turbine engine the power is output as torque through the shaft. In a turbo prop, the power output is split between jet thrust and torque used to drive the propeller.
In this case, almost all the power is being output as torque going into a transmission then the drive wheels.
All jets are turbines, but not all turbines are jets. These are turbine engines.

@yo_stfu_ Yea maate! Not the fastest, the farther, a "full pull" is 100 meters, meanwhile the weight they are pulling becomes more and more heavier making reach a full pull very challenging!
