She was raped and killed by someone who lived there. Also, that person could be identified as having purchased gallons of bottled water at a nearby store, but I don't expect cops to piece that together with IQs under 100.

@The PUGly Duckling Someone who would suddenly leave would be foolish. Even dumb cops would have already investigated those who have left. To catch a criminal, one must be more intelligent than they are; I would have had this crime solved within 3 days, and that is something I'd wager anything on.

starting at 2:30, the elevator/lift is changing floors. The lights on the panel go from 5 to 2 lit up. At 2:52 the color on the outside glass/wall is orange, not the previous black/blue...

i knew a paranoid schizophrenic in high school. He behaved in a similar way during his "episodes" Unable to distinguish reality from fantasy, he would claim that bats were following him and would end up in unusual places. This very much reminded me of the way he behaved.

Right that music! I watch all sorts of fucked up movies and videos and whatnot at all hours of the night but that music with that jerky footage is STILL making my flesh crawl, 10 minutes later. I wasn't going to comment but its still happening. I feel like a normal person haha. Weird... I wish it would go away

I used to work in DTLA in the early 90's. The Cecil was a haven for crackheads and strawberries. I was surprised to see that tourists were staying there, unheard of back then. IMO, she looked paranoid for no apparent reason. I could be wrong and most likely am, but I think it was suicide.
