    So why didn't you Yanks use that tactic in Afganistan from the start ??? Why were you Yanks using the same drop points and getting ambushed by the Taliban ??? It was the RAF fly boys dropping of the Royal Marines that gave you guys the idea! You didn't invent the tactics, you invented Tic Tacs Point made!!!

    I saw the RAF and UK Army pilots do this dozens of times a day in N.Ireland during reuspply of hilltop bases. The rotors become super-dangerous, gotta keep your head on when approaching!

    Yeah but the US was not the only force to use choppers from the time of their invention, the chopper was in service years before vietnam in both UK and USA. Its a bit arrogant to claim that everything to do with choppers was invented by US, but then you are American.
