Irony, no, I dont think so, the need to have a say on something you know nothing about, maybe, we dont care in the UK, fed up to the back teeth of it taking over our Television, will it NEVER END;
Great one Jenva, thanks, some of us also sit back and shake our heads at how heated and personal the debates have become. I can remember when the issues were the main point of contention and the differances between the proposed programs got all the play. now its mostly speechifying about how this that or the other thing. It has degenerated into a contest of personality and video presence. Sorry for the rant.
Good post

I think you are right on the money there Jay. Its now all smoke and mirrors. Few candidates seem to be worthy, and if they are, they have to put up with, not only the opposition making judgements on their private lives, but also the American public. What happened to policies?
good post Jenva, all quite true, but the reason why we're all exposed to the US election (not talking about liveleak but the rest of the media) it's because whether we like it or not, it matters to us. For good or for bad the outcome of the US election will affect the rest of the world and having an opinion on it it's not only natural but something some of us feel compelled to express.
Your right Jenva.
Just take a look at the percentage of
LiveLeak uploads concerning the whole
US election circus.
LiveLeak is no longer fun, especially
when you see American keyboard warriors
mouthing off and swearing when someone
they do not even know displaying a flag
other than the stars and stripes dares
to have a comment about it.
Just curious Jenva, did I just hear on American media that Austarilia just elected the first black person to ______? Fill in the blank for me. I forget but just heard it yesterday.
Btw. Americans are deeply involved in politics. At least compared to everyone that has provided political input on LL. In fact the only political non American that I can think of on LL is Shrek. I have been here a while. No need to get upset over what we take seriously. It's politics :}
