@CrazyCrisUk the brakes can be operated seperate or together. great for turning tighter than the front wheels allow just stomp the left or right rear brake.

@RickBond Farm tractors (not sure about industrial tractors) have seperate right and left brakes-two pedals side by side on the right. Sometimes steering is difficult when pulling things in loose soil or mud, so you use one pedal or the other to assist steering. You better make sure to lock them together before going on the road though or you'll wind up in the ditch!
