The fishermen were planning on catching some pink snapper about three
kilometres off the coast of Quindalup, southwest of Perth. Instead they attracted a different, much more fearsome fish.

Mr Maclean estimated the first shark to arrive was about 3.5m in length, while the second one was about 4m long.
