  • The US Coast Guard just KICKS ASS. No doubt about it. Some of the bravest men and women you will find anywhere.

    My buddy was in the USCG back in the early 1980's. He was the hoist guy in the helicopter and said it was pretty cool. Unfortunately, he went on more "recovery" missions than rescues. 9 times out of 10 they pulled bodies out of the water vs survivors. Regardless, I have a lot of respect for these guys and gals.
