The only reason France participated in the Libya situation with airstrikes was to be able to say this fighter had seen combat so they could sell it.

I must admit I saw the Mirage 2000 at Farnborough. The pilot did a short take off, levelled off at less than a 100' rolled inverted and then climbed vertically. You could hear the gasp from the crowd.
