You mean you guys actually try to see how much a weapons system is going to cost? BEFORE you sign a contract?
OUR politicians just add up how much their state/district stands to get for manufacturing, supporting, training, basing, etc. This always adds up to 2-3 times the quoted price but they never get together and figure that out.
What's wrong with your guys?
