Shocking footage
A cat thats actually listens to it's owner - shocking I tell you! She hopped on me to chill while I was in a tube floating in the pool yesterday, wish I caught that on camera...

WTF - The cat thought he had food. When he discovered there was none he lost all interest. The sound of me grabbing the dry food bag gets my cats running back from 3-4 gardens down!

I used to have a cat that when I showed him a brush from 300ft away, he'd come running.

@Zipperneck1321 The words "brush","food","treats" (and visual display of brush too, but from just a few yards!), specific sound food container makes from quite some distance!

@Zipperneck1321 And I practice a form of tonic immobilisation on them, like with sharks but less dangerous!

It only came because it thought it was getting fed.

my cat listens to: come, stay, go, be nice ( withdrawl nails when playing), be nasty ( extend nails when playing ) attack, and all of that right after eating... ^,^

Yep, it was expecting something interesting or tasty... Saw it was just you and was like "fuck that, I'm gone." Cats are nice to have around and can be friendly occasionally but they are pretty much self-sufficient wild animals and.. well maybe the Japs can train them but otherwise, leave it alone and give it some food and water sometimes, it might hang out with you when it gets bored sometimes.

@EmrysM - one good thing, there is not one mouse, fly, moth or varmints of any kind in our house.
A while ago - I did see a mouse in our bathroom and put the cat in there and closed the door. He had it within 5 minutes...

There was a tail-less cat in my old neighborhood. he would come up to anyone and just walk the sidewalk, down and around the cul-de-sac all day, many people would feed him and even let him in at night. He was super friendly and talkative. we moved, and I occasionally think of that guy and hope some dumb fuck didn't poison him or set him on fire...
Oh, btw - my three cats know their names and listen to us. They come when we call them (especially at supper time). Funny when our 1 guy starts scra More..

My best ever cat was just like this.
I remember whistling her one day and having a guest say "you can't call cats" in an know-it-all tone.
Her racing up a couple of seconds later seriously disproved him.
Cats - of the good variety - are very social and interact well with humans.

@DEADBEEF My cats appear when I make a cup of tea during the day because I make myself tea when I feed them each morning! There are loads of sound and word associations my cats make.
