keep dreaming. firstly i'm not an arab nor even remotely related to them, sweetpea (as i presume you are).
secondly, the arabs lack both the resources and industrial base to carry out a war of those dimensions, should anyone decide to genocide on their arses.
thirdly, i doubt anyone's got the stones for it these days.

I find it remarkable that Russia was able to survive that war despite the tremendous loss of life and the destruction of much of its industrial base and then even challenge the US that was left completely untouched by the most distructive war the world has ever known.

your own government killed many of those people as millions were liquidated ahead of the German advance- anyone who would proove sympathetic to the Nazis- which were entire countries. The people of Ukraine, Latvia, Estonia etc had been getting staved , deported and murdered for decades. Hitlers biggest mistake in Ww2 was failing to ally himself with the massive anti communist movement in the occupied countries.

No doubt that was impressive. But the massive investment in military rebuilding after the war... did not improve civilian economic life as quickly as in the west. And we know where that went.

Maybe more "Soviets" than Hitler. Nobody really knows. Certainly, Stalin was directly responsible for the loss rate the Red Army suffered during the war. I can tell you this-his madness and paranoia led to the deaths of countless millions. Forget the numbers game. The reality is-Stalin was a disaster for Russians, Ukrainians, Belaurussians, Uzbeks, Georgians, Azerbajianis... ect.

this is where ww2 was decided- by the time D day came around the German army was but a husk of it's former self. Over half of the Germans " soldiers' killed by allied troops in Western Europe were draftees from ages 16-60. The bottom of the barrel. As Hitler said twords the end of the war ' the best have already been killed"

Not true at all. The Hitler regime was unsustainable. Hitler's mental and physical health was in decline which would have left a rather chaotic power vacuum. Most scholars agree that while it would have spread further, it would after collapsed in on itself within a few years after Hitler's death. Without Russian and Western opposition, more of Europe would likely speak German, but it would have never left Europe.

I don't remember the authors, I just retain knowledge from the dozens books I've read over the last decade on this topic. Up until a few years ago I was on a WW2 kick. But do you really need an expert to tell you that America would be speaking German and/or living German in culture if not for the Russians? Really?

Again, I cannot recall specific citations of 1 or 2 books out of dozens that I read several years ago. It was a book I found on Amazon though, so you could probably find it through them or Google.
What I specifically remember reading about, was a book on Hitler's leadership and the struggling populace. This book went into detail illustrating examples of how regime and policy faltered without direct oversight.
