  • Good find. I recently read a book about that earthquake. I can't imagine living back in those days and have to endure that size of a quake. I was there in SF little over year ago and there is one building that is preserved from that era (I believe it was a memorial to both the '06 and the '89 quake) and you could really tell how screwy the buildings were made at that time so it is no wonder so many people were killed.

  • Would have been nice to juxtapose this with the video of San Fran that was taken the day before the earthquake. It might have been the same filmmaker actually. I've seen it posted on here before for sure...

  • Man even back in 1906 everyone was wearing suits and ties and hats. Like sheep almost. Drugs were even legal back then and look how "together" everyone is.
