  • Some scenes are actually from Tunisia, from Italy, others from the Russian front, Hurtgen forest, and some even from the battle of the Bulge, long after Normandy.

    As a proof, just watch the huge amount of M-43 jackets in American soldiers, which, of course, were not issued during the Normandy campaign. Soldiers went to that battle with M-41 and tanker jackets.

    Also, watch the scenes with soldiers with overcoats and winter gear, hardly a uniform to wear during the French summer (June 6, 1944 More..

    • @mcgus yes i've noticed some scenes which i'd have thought are from battle of bulge , had no proofs . which one you reckon is from tunisia and from eastern front ?

  • Tunisia: from 0:40 to 0:42.

    Eastern Front: 2:07 to 2:09. Also, too many short scenes of less than a second, of tanks rolling, guns firing. Winter uniforms and winter landscapes.

    Ardennes: 2:29, the jeep burning while the driver tries to escape is a classic from that battle.
