    So you have your headlight on. Big deal, thats normal for a bike. But driving like this will shorten your live considerably.

  • It appears the driver was already committed to pulling out when you encountered him. It's something to be expected when driving in poor visibility on a roadway that already has a poor sight picture for the driver pulling out.

    You sure showed him when you passed him, though. Good defensive driving.

      It does not fucking matter that you were only going 15. And you know that.

      Conditions were extremely poor.
      And maybe, just maybe, as a responsible bike rider, you should recognize that people don't see bikes on the road on good days, and they would be even less likely to see us on a bad day.       I ride plenty in the rain.
      Ride a 2003 Goldwing.
      It handles very well in the rain.

      Basically unless there is snow or ice on the road, I ride.

      I put about 17k on my bike last year.

      I'm just saying I would never ride like the guy in the video.

      I would also never bitch about not being seen, like the guy in the video.

    • @wharris A GW? That's a car! Just jokes, after 2001 they got much better but a GW would be much too large to ride fast in a tight urban environment.

      A triple on the other hand, I'd be going faster than than in the video.

      But gotta agree, most experienced riders accept the not being seen, even use it to advantage.

  • That happens every ride, many times a ride and just like in this vid it is best to just ride around them. Of course that gets "them" all upset and raging but that's gonna happen anyway. A quick twist leaves it all behind.
