First responders were Arizonans.
It's how we roll down here.
Minus the Third World occupants.

That's because Arizona has good people no matter what the anti 1070 crowd would have you think.

I would wear a safety vest if im riding at night. Rather be a live dork instead of a dead unseen person.

Like toffee1878 said,....no lights on the bike. AND,...he was riding AGAINST the flow of traffic. Not a "bike law" person, but I'm pretty sure it's pretty much standard that you ride a bike WITH the flow of traffic, not against. But I totally understand why people DO ride against the flow! I'd rather see it coming and at least have a CHANCE to get out of the way.
And like he said,....still no excuse for a hit & run. R.I.P. to him or her.

You are incorrect. The cyclist was riding on the right side of the right lane. i.e.he was riding with the 'flow'. It is actually a law that the cyclist ride like that. It's not a suggestion.

contraire mon frere.
If my presumption is correct, that you are to ride WITH the flow of traffic, then indeed, the cyclist is (technically speaking) breaking the law! Again,...I am not an avid cyclist, nor do I keep up with cyclist safety or laws. That being said, in the EXAMPLE WHICH I DESCRIBE, the cyclist would be riding in the wrong direction. The cyclist enters the screen from the LEFT. Traffic is coming from the right. He is traveling HEAD ON/AGAINST the flow, not WITH! Likewise, he More..

He was NOT riding against the flow of traffic. He was in the right lane going through a green light. The car was turning left without clearing traffic and hit the guy on the bike. No lights, but fairly visible. If you can't see that, you shouldn't be driving either.

You're not grasping the concepts of "with" and "against" the flow. They have nothing to do with a video screen.

Are you people blind? The biker was in the right-hand lane, riding his bike like he is supposed to, WITH THE FLOW OF TRAFFIC. WITH THE FLOW OF TRAFFIC!!!!!!!!!!!!
HE WAS RIDING WITH THE FLOW OF TRAFFIC!!!!!
I'll repeat myself again (maybe you guys are blind). He was on the right side of the road, riding with the flow of traffic.

I hate to profile (not really) but after reading the news story and seeing the drivers picture, he looks like a partier. He should have never left the scene though no matter what. As far as the biker it's Darwin%u2019s way of eliminating dumbasses.

"Cody"... such a strange Mexican name. And why didn't they make him take off his white-face before the booking photo?

Although illegals fail to stop quite often because of who they are, in this case it was a white 22 year old male.

my thoughts exactly. whenever someone is involved in a felony anywhere in the U.S., there should be a mandatory statement made about his/her citizen status. if an American asshole is involved, its an American felon, if an illegal is involved we should have the right to know as law abiding citizens. they certainly make a big deal about your race on the cencus, why not when it comes to a felon...

Gross generalisms are pathetic. Whenever someone speaks in absolutes, it just makes them sound ignorant. Just yesterday I witnessed a pedestrian get hit in an intersection by a minivan and who was behind the wheel of the minivan? That's right.. a Mexican. And yes, he stopped.
