Saudis Fear Not Beheading To Protest For First Time In Capital Against Royal Oppression
 Part of channel(s): C-A-T-000p (promoted)

Saudis throw away their caution against beheading and whipping, gathering to protest against the oppressive imprisonment of citizens by the King and his princes. All forms of protest are banned in Saudi Arabia, where the idea of falling out of line with the ruler can be regarded as a highest form of insult or treachery, a crime that can take off your head.

In Saudi Arabia the citizens are routinely imprisoned for asking for change or reform, and this is seen as a 'security threat'. Even peaceful demands for reform and criticism of the faults of the regime are forbidden. Those responsible often disappear without any further trace to live an unknown existence behind bars.
