Royal Navy has new Tomahawk Long Range Smart Missile launched via Submarine!
The 5,200 tonne attack submarine HMAS Trenchant used one of her torpedo tubes to launch the new Long Range Missile to then fly over the Gulf of Mexico and strike a target on the button 100's of miles away.
During the 60 minute test flight the missile reached speeds of 500MPH (805kmh) and heights of 3 kilometres (10,000ft)
