Japan TV apologizes for "topless" dancers

Japan, well known for taking foreign inventions and ideas and making them better, has now tried to top the infamous 2004 Super Bowl Janet Jackson wardrobe malfunction with their own version. The Japanese national broadcaster NHK televised on live TV a New Years Eve act by the popular DJ OZMA , which featured what appeared to be topless dancers backing him up near the end of the performance. They were, in fact, wearing body suits, but apparently they looked a bit too real, and 250 viewers phoned in complaints, a far cry from the tens of thousands CBS and their affiliates received after the Janet Jackson incident. No word on whether any of the NHK execs will be forced to commit seppuku.
