This video is wrong for a number of reason, one being correlation is not causation. Instead of thinking (fantasizing) so much, how about studying hard data and history. The war in Afghanistan is not a failure.

  • there is more violence right now because all the surge troops are in place and are conducting more operations than ever before, accounting for the higher casualties and higher rate of taliban attacks. thats how its supposed to be.

  • Tomorrow there is going to be a release about the progress in Afghanistan, I guess the news isn't to good. I think of it this way, this is now the longest war we ever been in and the future isn't looking any better. We tried to bring them something they couldn't bring themselves and sadly they just don't want it. Not one more drop of our soldiers blood is worth that shithole, if the Afghans want change let them die for it.

  • If, as you say, the maker of the vid is censoring or controlling debate than his motivations might be suspect and it is lame for the most part. I have no problem with people shutting down trolls if all they're doing is flaming without providing some kind of sense to the issue but in general it's pretty douchey. Same kinda thing when the douches here partake in that kinda of interneting.

    But as much as I support the fight against the Taliban and ALL soldiers in combat, clearly the war is a failu More..
