This video is part of an ongoing project to build a retrospective TV archive made exclusively for the LL community on my Retro TV channel at

Land of the Lost originally aired for three seasons between 1974 to 1976.
I included the rare and less popular season three intro. Dad (Rick Marshall) was lost to a pay dispute with Krofft, the producers of the show. Actor Spencer Milligan felt that he and the other actors should have a share of the money from the merchandising if they were going to plaster their likeness on lunch boxes, clothes and action figures. The company disagreed and flushed him down a time hole apparently.
Not to worry though because the "so bad it's good" was about to get better (or is that worse?) when Uncle Jack happens to go looking for the Marshall clan about that same time and gets lost too. Uncle Jack hooks up with the kiddies, they get new diggs in the form of an old Sleestak temple and the adventure went on for another season.

Nice!! I love this shit. Got any old commercials of Evil Knievel toys like that motorcycle you could crank up and it would take off? Me and my brother would make homemade parachutes out of loaf of bread plastic and plastic trash bags for him and our GI Joe dolls, climb up on the roof of our house, and toss them off. We would eventually bury them waste deep and lower a running lawn mower on top of them to chop them in to pieces. Then we would stage an accident on their cars/jeeps, douse them More..

Wow, I guess I didn't realize how shitty that show was.
Shaky cellphone videos of UFOs in the sky have better production values than that crap.

LMAO
Chakka was played by Ron Howards brother. He always got parts as fucked up looking space aliens and monsters. I'm pretty sure those were his real teeth at the time.

Nope... Chak-ka was played by Philip Paley - although he does look a bit like Clint Howard.

I remember watching this as a little kid and knowing what bad special effects were used then. Watching this was really funny. The producers must have been completely high as a kite when they made these episodes.
