Alleged world record 1/4 mile set by 4 cylinder Ecotec motor
A dragster model that was
created by Nicolas Brunet and which is fitted with a race-tuned
2.0-liter GM Ecotec engine has allegedly set a new world record for a
four-cylinder racecar completing the quarter-mile run in 6.71 seconds
with an exit speed of 207mph (333km/h) at the Napierville Dragway in Canada.

@85cmorning They do pretty well, Just gotta stay away from the GM supercharge tune. I worked at a dyno shop for quite a few years, they run really well wide open, but the ecu tries to make up for all that emissions they just released and run lean and detonate for 2.5 minutes after a dyno run. not really applicable here but I found it interesting. Let me see if i can find something else to ramble about ;)

@85cmorning Nice! mine is a bone stock 95. The only thing i don't like about it is the "spider" inj system, the poppets drip fuel and it a $500 unit. Oh well, just makes it tough to start after sitting for a while.
