Not really sure what to think about this. I was online looking at videos of the sun when I ran across a few videos claiming that the moons shadow was wrong...actually, more than a few videos. They are from different locations around the world, so it doesn't appear to be a local event.
I also saw a Cornell University report stating that the moon is undergoing an anomalous increase of the eccentricity of the lunar orbit.
I thought it might be the result of an eclipse, but NASA doesn't show any for March.

I really have no clue, but the videos are interesting to say the least, and they do not match any moon phase I have seen. Most of the videos were taken March 7-9,
