My tow driver at my business, Donny, chased a car thief down and sat on him till the cops arrived. He had stolen a truck from a scrap yard and was selling it to us as scrap.
Donny recognized the truck and tried to stall him. lol, the best was his retelling of the chase, he said he yelled, in his best imitation police voice, FREEZE! DOWN ON THE GROUND! and the guy just dropped to the dirt.

I've always thought that you kind of owe something to the community in which you live. You have an unwritten obligation as a citizen to be vigiliant and active in trying to prevent bad shit.
