OV-1 Mohawk A seaboard World DC-8 landed by mistake at Marble Mountain
Army Airfield (OV-1 Mohawk base) at 2am in the morning. They had been
cleared to land at Danang Main but landed at Marble instead. . I have since talked to the co-pilot of the aircraft and learned the
true story of this incident. By Stan Bloom

Didn't the Army take over Marble Mountain in 1971? I had some Marine buddies there in 67 and 68, when it was a Marine base. I was up north at the time. I do think Army was there with Special Forces or something though.
