JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A 19-year-old was arrested Wednesday and charged with murder in the fatal shooting of a 16-year-old in Arlington earlier this month.

According to the arrest report, Michael Peeler was in an argument with Antonio Colon-Rivera about 7:15 p.m. on Oct. 2 at the Gregory Cove Apartments on Edenfield Road, just off University Boulevard North.

Police said Peeler pulled a gun and shot Colon-Rivera in the head in front of several witnesses.

The victim died at Shands-Jacksonville Medical Center.

Peeler was being held without bond on charges of murder, carrying a concealed firearm and possession of a controlled substance.
