Hulk Hogan's Son Loses Control at 90MPH

CLEARWATER, FLORIDA

The son of professional wrestler Hulk Hogan was seriously injured in a residential street racing car crash Sunday night, leaving his best friend fighting for life.

A Toyota Supra driven by Nick Bollea was traveling at a speed of around 90MPH on a posted 35MPH residential street at approximately 7:30 p.m., Police said.

Bollea, Hogan's real name, lost control, flipping the car before slamming into a palm tree.

"The car was completely destroyed," Police said.

Bollea, 17, and passenger John Glasiano both had to be cut free from the wreckage by paramedics. Both children were airlifted to Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg.

Police said both had serious injuries, though Glasiano's were believed to be much more critical.

The road was shut down in both directions for several hours, Shelor said.

It is uncertain if alcohol played a part in the crash but it seems to have been caused by extreme excessive speed, Police said.

Bollea, 17, and his family moved back to the Tampa Bay area last week from Miami.
Hogan's father, professional wrestler Hulk Hogan, who's real name is Terry Bollea, was at the scene checking on the situation.

Nick Hogan talked about his budding drift racing career during a recent t.v interview.

Bollea appears on the VH1 reality TV show "Hogan Knows Best" with his father, mother and sister.

  • I seen this kid on TV really getting into cars and racing and at 17, that is a recipe for disaster. Best hopes and wishes to both thier families!

The Hulkster financed his own son's near self destruction. Why didn't his old man slap some sense into him? If that didn't work, he could have:
    -raked his eyes
    -body slammed him
    -DDT
    -gone Top Rope
or just went all Hulkamania on his ass!

  • "children" ??

Liberal-speak when they want to blame someone else (they are only children ...) or to make you feel sorry and support a socialist agenda (it's for the children ...)

  • well first of all, for someone who has a budding drift racing career, he should have known better to take racing out on the street. Isn't that one of the conditions when you become a professional racer to keep in on the race track....oh well sucks to be you Nick!

  • yes they are still children, obviously not fully developed upstairs. i feel that some people dont understand certain things in this world like adults do until about age 23 or so, but thats my opinion. ive met many 18 yr olds that still dont understand what being adult is.

  • anyways i wish him the best of luck, and im sure he will now learn his lesson that racing doesnt belong in a neighborhood and that it belongs on a professional track.

    • "Learned his lesson?"

This killer should be put in jail. His friend is a frickin vegetable right now and his trailer trash parents are blaming the victim because of bad karma? Go to hell Hogans.
